Step 01: Select one of
the aft trimmed W-1208-R Nose Ribs and rivet it to the W-1206-L Spar
Assembly attach angle starting outboard and working inboard, this is now
known as Nose Rib-L01. 05/30/15 |

Step 02: Select one
more of
the aft trimmed W-1208-R Nose Ribs and rivet it the next attach angle, this is now known as Nose Rib-L02. |

Step 03: Select three
more of
the aft trimmed W-1208-R Nose Ribs and rivet them to the next attach angles, these are now known as Nose Ribs-L03, L04, and L05 Builder Note: Nose Rib L04 Will be modified in Step: |

Step 04: Select one of
the unmodified W-1208-R Nose Ribs and rivet it to the W-1206-L Spar
Assembly on the next attach angle and working inboard, this is now
known as Nose Rib-L06. 05/30/15 |

Step 05: Select the unmodified W-1208-R Nose Ribs with the two nutplates attached and rivet it to the W-1206-L Spar Assembly on the next attach angle and working inboard, this is now known as Nose Rib-L07. | ||||||||||||
Step 05: Select one
unmodified and two forward aft trimmed W-1208-R Nose Ribs and rivet
them to the W-1206-L Spar
Assembly on the next attach angles, these are now
known as Nose Ribs -L08, L09 and L10. Builder Note: When installing the ribs in front of the four fuel tank ribs add the spacer plates in the photo in Step: 05B on the back side of the spar. |

Step 05B: Install the
spacer plates at the front of the four fuel tank ribs. These four ribs
are not trimmed at the front. this is not per van's instructions. Builder Note: I left the flanges on to help with the loads from the fuel tank. This requires longer rivets. 06/06/15 |

Step 06: Install the
next three ribs in reverse order, these are now known as Nose Ribs -L11,
L12 and L13. Builder Note: Install in reverse order will make the riveting easer. 06/07/15 |

Step 07: Install the
last rib, this is now known as Nose Rib -L14. Builder Note: The tray in Nose Ribs L12 and L13 is a backup for the GMU 24 Magnetometer. |

Step 09: Remove and
replace rivets in Nose Rib L04 06/07/15 |

Step 10: Cleco then
rivet the tray for the primary location of the GMU 24 Magnetometer. 06/07/15 Builder Note: This location was not used do to the new Magnetometer type from Garmin. |

Step 11: Cleco then
rivet the Left Stub Spar Assembly to the forward flanges the Nose Ribs
as shown in Figure 1. 06/09/15 |
