Step 01:
Align the spars in the forward and aft stub spar receptacles as shown in
Figure 1.
( left wing first then right ) Apply a light coating of general purpose wheel bearing grease
to the WD-1217 Fuselage Pins. then insert the cam tool through the bushings in the
F-1204 Bulkhead Assembly and into the bushings in the left wing spar,
but not protruding aft of tae aft surface of the left spar.
I
used my the wing
pin cam ( I made in my lathe ) to move the wings in then install the W-1217 pins and secure in
place.
Builder Note: Insert and turn until it goes in the forward
spar, then turn until the wing is pulled in enough to
install vans pin in the the opposite side. Then push the cam tool in the
rear spar, then turn until the rear spar is in place. |
