This Alteration is to add a baggage area in
the tailcone for items required to pre-flight and tie down the aircraft.
It will also help with the W&B problem caused
by the six cylinder Jabiru Engine
|
Step 01: Make the
door frame from .090 2024 T3.
Mill a .028 relief in the frame for a
.049 thick door.
Then counter sink for CS4-4 Rivets.

Hinge Support Angle then clean, scuff, prime and install nut plates for
the hinge. |

Step 03: Make the
door and hinge.
